So I was on a week-long holiday the whole of last week, and while away, the 2014 Steam Winter Sale happened, or rather, is happening. The sale began on December 18th, 2014, and runs until January 2nd, 2015, at 10am Pacific Time; that at 2am on January 3rd in Malaysia.
That’s a total of more than two weeks, and we have 10 days left. The total games on Steam that are on sale fluctuates, but it is hovering at around 2,069 titles. Everyday, there could be up to two Flash Sales, and its daily Deals will run up to 48 hours in length. Steam will also present us with three games daily for us to vote, and the winner gets a bigger discount, up to 80% sometimes.
A few of the well-known franchises we like include Batman Arkham, Assassin’s Creed, Borderlands, Dead Space, Mass Effect, Metro 2033, Half-Life, Portal, Call Of Duty, The Walking Dead, Company Of Heroes, you name it. Touching a bit on other titles, we’re looking at discounts for Machinarium, Papers Please, Game Of Thrones, Outlast, et cetera.
